Biographical sketch of Myron McCord, undated.

A typewritten biographical sketch by McCord of his brother Myron H. McCord, Jr. (1840-1908), who published a newspaper in Lincoln County, Wis., became successful in the logging business there, served a term (1888-1890) as a U.S. Congressman from the 9th District of Wisconsin, and was later appointed territorial governor of Arizona by President William McKinley and U.S. Marshal of Arizona by President Theodore Roosevelt.

Governor; Myron McCord, Jr. came to Arizona in 1893 and served as Arizona governor from 1897 to 1898 when he resigned to head a regiment of volunteers in the Spanish-American War.
